About the Breed
The Maine Coon is the official state cat of Maine, USA. Often referred to as the "gentle giant" of the cat world, they are friendly, outgoing, and highly intelligent. They have a unique chirping voice and are known for their playful behavior, which continues well into adulthood. They are also known to be fascinated by water.
