About the Breed
According to legend, the Birman acquired its golden hue and crystal blue eyes from a temple goddess. These cats are known for their loving, quiet nature. They love being around people, have a soft voice, and are very playful yet gentle. Birmans have single coats, meaning their hair rarely mats.
